West Atlanta Endodontics is not a participating provider in any PPO, HMO or Dental Healthcare programs. As a courtesy, we file insurance claims on behalf of our patients for dental services performed in our office. Please keep in mind that employers purchase dental insurance for their employees to supplement the cost of dental care. Unlike medical insurance, most dental insurance policies do not cover the full cost of endodontic (root canal) procedures.
Payment of the total fee is due on the day treatment is performed. This means that the patient is responsible to pay the estimated portion not covered by their insurance. After payment is received from your insurance company, a statement will be mailed to you for any balance not covered by your insurance company. If there is an overpayment by your insurance company, you will be promptly reimbursed.
