Financial Information

Patient Billing

West Atlanta Endodontics is committed to providing superior care to all our patients. It is our goal for you, as our patient, to  have an exceptional experience from the moment you contact our office. In order to maintain an honorable professional  relationship, it is important to us that you fully understand our office’s Financial Policy, Insurance, and Procedure Cost. We are  always available to assist you in answering any financial questions you may have.

Dental Insurance

Please be aware that as a specialist office, we are out of network with all dental insurance carriers. Your dental office has referred you  to West Atlanta Endodontics, not based on network status, but professional trust and the outstanding endodontic treatment that our  doctors provide. We do accept all PPO dental plans! We are happy to file all claims for you and will accept any out-of-network benefits that  your plan has available to you. The office requires a percentage of the total treatment cost to be paid at the time treatment is rendered. We  do our best to estimate the patient’s out of pocket based on the limited information that your dental carrier provides to us. If a balance  remains after all claims have processed, a statement will be sent, and prompt payment is due. If a credit remains on your account, we will  process a refund to you in a timely manner. Please note that if your dental plan does not accept “assignment of benefits” to the doctor, the  entire procedure cost is expected at the time of service.

Filing dental insurance is a courtesy we extend to you, as our valued patient. Please keep in mind, our relationship is with you and not your  dental insurance company. We have no control over what your dental plan pays or doesn’t pay. The full cost of the dental treatment is the  patient’s responsibility in the event your insurance does not pay.

Payment

Payment in Full or Estimated Copays are due at the time treatment is render. In some circumstances, payment may be requested upon  scheduling or a few days prior to scheduled appointment.

We accept the following forms of payment: Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, and CareCredit. CareCredit is a third-party finance  company we work closely with. The CareCredit account will need to be established prior to the scheduled dental appointment. Please  contact our office at any time if you have questions about CareCredit or any other form of payment accepted.

Consultations

If a consultation appointment is deemed necessary prior to the actual dental treatment, the consultation fee is collected in full at the time of  service. We will in turn file your dental insurance to seek reimbursement for a portion of what you pay, if coverage allows.

Un-Paid Account Balance

West Atlanta Endodontics will make a diligent effort to collect any outstanding account balance from the patient and/or responsible party.  We understand that temporary financial problems may affect the timely payment of your balance. If these situations arise, we encourage  you to communicate any such problems immediately to the office so we may assist you in the management of your account. Any account  with an unpaid balance of 90 days will be turned over to a collection company. You will be responsible for all fees associated with collection  costs, attorney fees, and court costs incurred with the collection efforts.

Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.
